Scholarship Fund

During this time of significant budget cuts, the government funding for On-Site Academy (OSA) has suffered severely.  In order to continue serving our military personnel, police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, emergency room personnel and other first responders, OSA has started the First Responder Scholarship Fund (FRSF). FRSF will be solely funded by donations from you and other individuals and groups that believe in the work OSA does.

Your donations to FRSF will help provide free care and reduced fee treatment to first responders who would not otherwise be able to receive these services in a timely manner.  Due to the budget cuts, OSA has only been able to provide one out of seven beds at no or reduced cost (scholarship).  This has meant that some clients have had to go on a waiting list for the next available scholarship.  You will be providing more individuals with the assistance they need when they need it.  For a resident struggling with substance abuse problems, your donations will help them participate in extended care residential programming to ensure long-term support for sobriety as they continue to struggle with traumatic events.

Because of you and others like you, they will be able to receive the help they need so that they may continue to keep us safe everyday.  Money you give to FRSF will be awarded on an as needed basis for both partial and full scholarships to residents at OSA.  FRSF gives you a way to take care of those who take care of you; helping to ensure mental health needs are treated for the people who are on the front lines of our country everyday both at home and overseas.

OSA is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) program. All donations should be accompanied by a return address so that we may send a Thank You Letter and Donation Slip for your tax records.
